Isola, an industry leader in global materials sciences whose mission is to improve life by enabling innovation in electronic products, is hiring a 2nd Shift CPP Operator at our Ridgeway, SC facility. Assigned Schedule:1:00pm-9:30pm Monday - Friday(Overtime, extended shift and weekend work required) Skill Level: B Compensation:$18.25 (plus $1.25 per hour shift differential) THE ROLE The CPP Operator is responsible for operating the Rosenthal machine, which converts prepreg rolls into sheets. The position is also responsible for timely transfer of fabricated prepreg sheets in preparation for the tooling process. TOP RESPONSIBILITIES: Set-Up Pre Preg Roll on to machine using hoist Operate Rosenthal Machine Inspect prepreg sheets for quality Relocate unused prepreg roll back to staging area for restocking Complete Production and Scrap Report form Perform other duties as assigned. INTERNAL ELIGIBILITY Completion of 90-day new hire/newly transferred probationary period No active disciplinary notices for behavior or performance No more than 3 attendance points REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication is essential. PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS In this role you maybe be required to stand up to 10 hours per shift and with frequent bending, reaching, and grasping. You will also need to lift, pull or push up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

The CPP Operator operates the Rosenthal machine to convert prepreg rolls into sheets and ensures timely transfer of fabricated sheets for tooling. Responsibilities also include setting up the machine, inspecting quality, and completing production reports.
