Description
Swan Aquatics is looking for Certified CPR Instructors to travel and teach American Red Cross Adult/Pediatric CPR/First Aid/AED courses. Instructors should be skilled in teaching in classroom-only and blended learning environments. We provide ARC classes for the general public in agreement with the cities and facilities with which we partner. We're also looking for Skilled CPR Instructor Trainers. CPR Instructor trainers will help us train Workplace CPR instructors for corporations, general-public CPR instructors, and our company's CPR instructors. Swan Aquatics is an E-Verify participating employer. Applicants may be subject to a background check and/or drug test upon hire, per facility requirements. BONUSES: * Gas reimbursement (upon agreement) of $0.70 per gallon. * Travel costs are covered if we fly you around. This position is year-round and may involve travel. Ideal applicants are self-motivated and have at least 2 years of CPR Instructor Experience. CPR Instructor-Trainers must have at least 1 year of CPR-IT experience. They must have access to reliable transportation and be willing to haul around CPR Gear. They must also have a safe space to store company-provided gear. If you have your own gear and it is in great shape, that would be even better! Starting pay is $30-45/hr, depending on experience, certification, and course type. QUALIFICATIONS: * 18+ years old minimum. * For CPR Instructors, you must have a current Red Cross CPR Student Pre-Req and instructor Certification. * For CPR Instructor Trainers, you must have a Red Cross CPR Instructor Certification and a Student CPR Pre-Requisite. * Red Cross Course Records of the last classes you taught * A printed ARC Manual and knowledge of how to access the Red Cross Portal. * Experience teaching classroom-only Red Cross Classes and blended learning. We offer in-service training on all our formats. * Strong skills working with the general public. * Valid driver’s license & current auto insurance. * Access to a reliable vehicle. * Ability to pass pre-employment verbal skills test. * Some Weekday or Weekend Availability. * Willingness to travel if needed.
