Registered Manager – 16-Bedded Care Home
Location: Hafod Residential Home, Sutton Coldfield, B74 2PR
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our 16-bedded residential service, supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities and older Adults. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed leader to join a dedicated team and deliver high-quality, person-centred care in a nurturing and compliant environment.
About the Role:
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home. You will lead by example, ensuring the service meets all regulatory requirements and promotes best practice in person-centred care. Your leadership will foster a supportive and positive environment where both residents and staff thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire the care team to provide outstanding, personalised care.
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and internal policies.
  • Coordinate care delivery and oversee effective care planning.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation and care records.
  • Support and train staff on care standards and safety protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with professionals, families, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor service performance and implement continuous improvements.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, respect, and professional development.
  • Be willing to cover the floor and work weekends as required.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a managerial or leadership role in a care home setting.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams with a strong emphasis on quality and compliance.
  • NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards).
  • Sound knowledge of Learning Disabilities and person-centred support.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and record-keeping skills.
  • A compassionate leader committed to delivering high standards of care.
