JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our care home. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, with a focus on medication administration, dementia care, and the development of care plans. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our residents while managing and supervising a team of caregivers. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a supportive environment that prioritises the well-being of our residents.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in an assisted living or senior care environment is essential.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
  • Strong understanding of medication administration protocols and best practices in dementia care.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in developing care plans.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff members at all levels.
  • Relevant qualifications in health or social care management would be advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and review individualised care plans for residents, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
  • Lead staff training sessions to enhance skills in dementia care and other relevant areas.
  • Foster a positive atmosphere within the home by promoting teamwork and open communication among staff members.
  • Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and adjust care plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records related to resident care and staff performance.
  • Collaborate with families and external professionals to ensure comprehensive support for residents.
