SKILLS & COMPETENCIES (MUST-HAVES)

· Proven leadership and management experience in care services.
· In-depth knowledge of CQC standards and relevant legislation.
· Full, clean UK driving licence with the willingness to travel for field-based work.
· Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the service, including occasional overnight stays.
· Availability to work 40 hours per week (typically Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm).
· Exceptional communication skills, adaptable to diverse needs.
· Resilient, flexible, and proactive under pressure.
· Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when needed.
· A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
· Commitment to upholding our values of Honesty, Loyalty, and Kindness in every aspect of your work.
· Fully Enhanced DBS check.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage day-to-day service operations, ensuring full compliance with legislation, regulations, and best practice standards.
  • Work in the field across the community, with flexibility for travel and occasional overnight stays.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing, values-driven team.
  • Oversee care planning and risk assessments, ensuring a personalised, person-centred approach for each loved one.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, PBS leads, and other professionals to deliver the highest quality of life possible for our loved ones.
  • Lead new referrals, assessments, and service transitions, creating a tailored vision and strategy for everyone.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies to achieve outstanding outcomes.
  • Maintain and improve our excellent CQC ratings through robust quality oversight.
  • Conduct company audits and provide guidance through supervision, team meetings, spot checks, and debriefs.
  • Provide hands-on care when required to meet business needs.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development.
