Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated and compassionate Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our care facility - Maple Cottage, which is a residential care home providing the regulated activity of accommodation and personal care for up to 5 people.
The service provides support to people who have a learning disability and autistic people.
As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Duties:
- Supervise and manage a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses and caregivers
- Develop and implement care plans for residents, ensuring their individual needs are met
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, making necessary adjustments as needed
- Coordinate with external healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for residents
- Administer medications and treatments as required
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the care facility, including staffing, scheduling, and budget management
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a care home
- Strong knowledge of autism and learning disabilities.
- Experience in medication administration and management
- Proven ability to supervise and lead a team of healthcare professionals
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
