JOB SUMMARY

We are a family owned bakery manufacturer supplying both bread & sweet confectionary to the UK market. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shop Floor Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bakery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in craft baking, coupled with excellent leadership and team management skills. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of baked goods while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. This is a very hands on shop floor based position and you MUST have commercial baking experience. This is not a job for a home baker, you must have the technical knowledge of producing the products.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience within hands on craft bakery by either experience or qualifications.
  • Strong supervisory experience with a focus on team management.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • A passion for baking and food production.
  • Excellent leadership skills to motivate and guide staff effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production environments.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Must be capable of jumping in with the team to help bake the products

    Pay: From £35,000.00 per year
