JOB SUMMARY:

As Craft Supervisor - Cranes and Rigging, you will lead a team and supervise superintendents and/or craft professionals on a project. You will direct craft professional activities and work schedules, and coordinate subcontract work activities and team development.
Your oversight will ensure craft professionals have the tools required to be productive, comply with project policies, procedures, and job site work rules and procedures, and perform within specifications, schedules and budgets. This is a FIFO role working 3:1 roster, based in Karratha, WA.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Requires bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
• Bechtel Certified Rigging Engineer (CRE) certification preferred.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Must have sound knowledge and experience in RT, all terrain and crawler cranes.
• Advanced technical knowledge and experience in engineering in the use of lifting equipment, alternative heavy lifting systems, mobile gantries, jacking, tailing, rigging equipment, and load distribution systems, including an understanding of transport/transfer of equipment, soil mechanics.
• Knowledge and understanding of the application and requirements of the Project Environmental, Safety & Health.
• Knowledge of project-specific environmental compliance requirements.
• Working Rights in Australia without employer sponsorship are required.
