OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating cranes and other lifting equipment to facilitate the movement of materials within our warehouse and construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations, materials handling, and adherence to safety protocols.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in crane operation or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving processes.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Experience in commercial driving is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Previous exposure to materials handling practices will be beneficial.

• Operate various types of cranes safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
• Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading materials from lorries.
• Collaborate with team members to build and assemble structures as required.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of crane equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilise forklift equipment for materials handling when necessary.
• Assist in digging operations as part of site preparation or material relocation tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of materials handled and movements within the warehouse or site.
