Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations, conducting thorough pre-operation inspections of equipment. Load Assessment: Determine load weights and dimensions, ensuring equipment capacity is not exceeded, and maintaining stability during operations. Communication: Use hand signals and radios to coordinate with ground crew and other operators, ensuring clear communication and safety. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or necessary repairs to management. Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of equipment use, load movements, and safety inspections. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid crane operator certification and a minimum of 2 years' experience operating cranes in construction settings. Strong knowledge of crane operations, safety procedures, and load management principles. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans. Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and commitment to workplace safety.
