Description Assemble and fabricate metal cabinets, enclosures, bases, and/or other components. Assist the crane operator by providing clear and precise signals to ensure safe and efficient crane movements. Continuously monitor the work area to identify and mitigate potential hazards. Guide the positioning of loads, ensuring they are moved safely and accurately. Maintain constant communication with the crane operator and other team members to coordinate movements and operations. Conduct pre-operation inspections of rigging and lifting equipment to ensure they are in good condition and safe to use. Stay updated on safety protocols and participate in regular training sessions to ensure compliance with safety standards. Assist in identifying and resolving any issues related to crane operations promptly and efficiently. Identify and resolve any issues related to crane operations promptly and efficiently. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Follow established safety guidelines. Perform additional duties as requested. Requirements High School Diploma or GED preferred. Equivalent experience may be acceptable. Experience around bridge cranes and advanced rigging. Ability to use basic hand tools, power tools, tape measure, grinders, and saws safely. Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions. Ability to read and comprehend instructions. Requires good judgment, and ability to work with others and perform other tasks as assigned. Experience operating a forklift preferred.
Responsibilities
