About the role We’re on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Crane Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in keeping our cranes operating safely and efficiently across the Whyalla Steelworks and Mining businesses. We are particularly interested in candidates with a fitting or boilermaking background who have exposure to machinery inspections and maintenance works. Previous crane maintenance experience is a bonus but not essential — we will provide comprehensive training and induction to crane inspection and maintenance requirements, helping you quickly get up to speed and excel in this specialised role. This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically minded tradespeople to build on their existing expertise and develop specialist skills in a supportive, safety-focused environment.
