Description Description: Demonstrates proficiency in crash investigation of broad range of crash dynamics focusing on advanced driver assistance systems, crash avoidance systems, guardrail end terminals, rollovers, electronic stability control, restraints and air bags, child safety seats, ambulances, tire defects, motor coaches, hybrid fuel and electric vehicles, pedestrian and Non motorist incidents (e.g., backover, frontover, hyperthermia, pedalcyclist), move over laws, and unintended acceleration. Requirements Must possess the following minimum requirements/Qualifications · Completion of CISS Investigator training in Oklahoma City. · Two years of field experience · Working knowledge of CDAN applications, including Crash Investigation Sampling System (CISS) web data entry. · Familiarity with vehicle inspection techniques, including use of Total Station and photography guidelines. · Experience imaging event data record data in real world. · Familiarity with scene inspection techniques and photography · Use of drawing programs such as FARO · Experience in conducting interviews · Willingness and expectation to travel Responsibilities Performs air traffic control (ATC) functions as a full performance controller in each position or combination of positions Functions as a sole tower operator with all ATC performance requirements Performs all basic weather-watch functions during assigned shifts Is capable of operating all tower positions as controller-in-charge Trains assistant controllers and trainees in all tower positions of operations Records and electronically transmits surface weather observations Obtains and transmits all pilot reports Advises maintenance technicians on all equipment problems Education Must have a high School diploma · 4-year bachelor's degree Experience in the following – Augmented by the SCI Team · Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) injury coding · Use of the Visual Anatomical Injury Descriptor (VAID) · Use of the internal and external WINSMASH program · Use reconstruction software programs · The technical reporting requirements associated with SCI cases. · Training for specialized crashes involving child safety seats, automated vehicles, heavy trucks, e-bikes, hyperthermia, frontovers, backovers, etc. · Approaches and techniques used to elicit cooperation from police agencies, fire departments, hospitals, and medical examiners from multiple states.
