Job Description: The Crating Technician is responsible for the last step in the manufacturing process - preparing our machines for shipment. This position packages equipment in crates to ensure safe delivery within budget and timeframe which ultimately impacts the revenue and long-term profitability of the company. Job Details: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday-Friday Starting pay $18.00 - $21.00 per hour Onsite in Halfmoon, NY Job Responsibilities: Crates machines to ensure safe shipping to customers and meets company shrink and damage goal. Ensures correct parts are shipped at the right quality and with zero damage, 100% of the time. Keeps appropriate shipping records to ensure machines are tracked and monitored for loss and damage. Ensures company abides by government standards for overseas shipments, 100% of the time. Helps maintain inventory of crates to meet company shipping needs, weekly. Maintains confidentiality of customer information, 100% of the time. Keeps a neat and organized inventory workspace for safety and efficiency, 100% of the time. Adheres to company policies and complies with safety standards 100% of the time. Backup for delivery driver as needed.
