Creation Laboratory Assistant, Perfumery & Beauty - Princeton, NJ Location: Princeton, NJ, US Join our dynamic team in Princeton, NJ as a Creation Laboratory Assistant, where you'll bring fragrance ideas to life through precise compounding. You'll collaborate closely with Perfumers, ensuring high-quality formulations while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient lab environment. This role blends hands-on creativity with technical accuracy, using strong computer skills to manage inventory, batch processing, and label creation. Your Key Responsibilities: Compound fragrance oils for Perfumers, Fragrance Development Managers and other laboratories while adhering to delivery due dates and applying good laboratory practices Optimize the number of pours to be done manually and deliver the minimum required number of pours and formulas as defined by the Creation Laboratory Manager/Perfumer Keeps collection of raw materials fresh and ensure all expired ones are removed while maintaining an up-to-date collection of fragrance oils related to the perfumer's oil library Operate with a team spirit mindset and support your colleagues We Bring: A rich history and a promising future of bold scientific innovation and passionate creation with our customers A space to grow by encouraging curiosity and an open mindset A culture that prioritizes safety and well-being, both physically and mentally A firm belief that working together with our customers is the key to achieving great things An eagerness to be one team and learn from each other to bring progress to life and create a better future We offer competitive pay, career growth opportunities, and outstanding benefit programs You Bring: 2-4 years of compounding experience in a perfumery or Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company strongly preferred Proficiency in MS Office Applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint Highschool Diploma /GED required; College Degree strongly preferred The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant's job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $40,000-$52,000.
