PURPOSE OF THE POST:

The Creative Art Teacher will be responsible for teaching and inspiring individuals in a variety of art-related subjects. The role involves delivering high-quality lessons, fostering creativity, and encouraging learners to explore various mediums and techniques in visual arts.

CANDIDATES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA RELEVANT TO THE ROLE:

• Recognised qualification in art education or a relevant art degree (e.g., BA in Fine Art, BEd in Art Education).
• Registration with the Teaching Council of Ireland or eligibility for registration.
• Experience in teaching art is essential.
• Experience of working with people with intellectual disabilities is desirable.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Experience in using technology for teaching art (e.g., digital tools, graphic design software).
  Salary and qualifications are in accordance with Department of Health consolidated pay scales. Salary Scale is €40,521- €54,705 incl LSI per annum.
