JOB DESCRIPTION

The Creative Artist is responsible to deliver graphic design services that meet or exceed customer expectations in quality and timing. This position must accurately interpret and translate customer graphic design and product requirements and expectations in order to enable the flawless execution of graphic services. There is a high level of interaction with Amcor Customer Service, Sales, Product Development, Marketing, Customers (and their graphics agencies and/or customers) and Amcor Graphics personnel

• Leads pre-production meetings, design reviews, and post-production reviews
• Evaluates and assesses designs and projects to insure the team accurately meets all customer expectations
• Develops accurate project estimates and understands related labor and material costs required to complete projects
• Remains highly organized and current on all projects and interactions to enable projects to flow smoothly from initiation through invoicing in a timely manner
• Insures the customer has a high level of visibility to what is happening and when and all project milestones are clearly understood
• Insures project priorities are clearly established, understood, and followed by the graphics production team.
• Is capable of and executes on producing marketing materials, graphic designs, and prototypes utilizing the software tools and specification provided.
• Collaborates with the other creative team members regarding design suggestions, questions and timing.
• Insures digital files are set up to enable a clean transfer to prepress and that the designs are reproducible on a printers manufacturing equipment
• Maintains a high level of competency in understanding and following all team procedures and protocols including safely operating and maintaining all area equipment
• Ensures all working time and material is accurately recorded on each project
• Continuously focuses on improvement and innovation as it relates to Creative and Marketing Services.
• Serves as a team leader in a Process Development function.WHAT WE VALUE

• Must have a solid understanding of digital graphics, graphic design applications, and a familiarity with a variety of printing processes.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, Esko Studio tools, and ORIS proofing software.
