LOCATION: DONCASTER

We’re looking for a compassionate and proactive Disability Support Worker to support a participant living with Prader-Willi Syndrome. This is a rewarding opportunity to help someone build independence, social awareness, and lead a fulfilling life.
About the Role:

You’ll be supporting a participant through a variety of meaningful activities and daily routines, including:

  • Social outings to parks and community spaces
  • Supporting gym visits and physical wellbeing
  • Assisting with appointments, meal preparation, and domestic tasks
  • Encouraging social capacity through shared activities and engagement
  • Active overnight support
  • Mealtime preperation and assistance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred support aligned with NDIS goals
  • Assist with daily living and domestic tasks
  • Facilitate social and community participation
  • Follow individual support plans and therapy strategies
  • Maintain accurate progress notes and report incidents as needed
  • Collaborate with families, team members, and allied health professionals

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Disability or equivalent (essential)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (mandatory)
  • Working With Children Check (mandatory)
  • Experience supporting individuals with Intellectual Disability, ASD, ADHD, OCD is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting others
