MARKETING CREATIVE CONTENT SPECIALIST

At Honeywell we see content writing as storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires. We’re looking for a talented Marketing Content Specialist who can take concepts and ideas and create engaging content, in both print and electronic media. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge and from concept to final deliverable. Collaborating with multiple teams across the company, the candidate should be able to take written or spoken ideas and convert them into content that connects to the customer. She/he will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing. Storytelling and value proposition creation a plus. This is hybrid work. 3+2 - 3 from office + 2 from home!

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 12+ years of experience in the content and writing space
  • Proficiency in communication and organization skills
  • Strong writing and grammar skills with effective research skills and attention to detail
  • Firm grasp of content over various marketing platforms and channels, including social, digital, and email marketing.
  • Strong sense of ownership, organizational skills, and detail focused.
  • Collaborative team player with a TON of Energy!
  • Exhibit confidence and flexibility in an extreme fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Responsibilities

OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE

  • Understanding of business topics and ability to make complex business topics easy to understand
  • Follow Honeywell Voice and Tone Guidelines and tune the content to match the business, campaign or other marketing communication deliverables; be a brand ambassador and custodian
  • Work on a wide range of marketing collateral and media including video scripts, event signage and campaigns
  • Translate input from business owners and managers to ensure that content meets organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company appropriately
  • Work independently as well as cooperatively with marketing team to meet deadlines; while simultaneously working on multiple projects
  • Interpreting creative direction and technical information and turning them into persuasive concepts

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams or clients on a wide range of collateral that may include presentations, collateral, signage, internal communications, newsletters, and marketing materials
