Creative Design Intern (4 Months)
The UMC team works four days a week from our award-winning creative campus located in Liberty Village, Toronto, and one day to work virtually.
Universal Music Canada is proud to offer students the opportunity to gain hands on experience in the music industry through our Academic Internship Program. Today’s students may be tomorrow’s employees, and this placement will provide interns with the chance to learn directly from the best professionals in the industry.

How You’ll Lead

  • Design and create banners, ads (digital/print), gifs, playlist covers, promotional images and various marketing collateral
  • Input ideas into creative brainstorming
  • Synchronize with various departments on the status of production work
  • Job coordination including sourcing and organizing assets, preparing them for the designers
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Bring

  • Must be enrolled in a post-secondary program that requires a placement
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator. (Bonus: Adobe After Effects/Premeire)
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Excellent organizational skills
