Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Creative Design Manager role requires an influential, proactive, strategic thinker who understands marketing, brand strategy, communications, and design. This position should demonstrate high-level skills in translating business and marketing strategy into detailed execution of creative design plans. The Creative Design Manager will implement policies and standards that reinforce the bank’s brand strategy by taking projects from concept stages through to final deliverables that engage our customers and ensure a consistent brand and creative direction across all channels. This position should be aware of creative trends for financial services, brining innovative approaches to the bank’s design capabilities and marketing. OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE: Lead the overall brand creative and design strategy, ensuring all work output is in line with brand objectives and guidelines Manage the overall content and creative strategy for the bank Responsible for managing all phases of creative development work from concept to completion Build, shape and actively lead a highly effective creative design team RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with Chief Marketing Officer to achieve marketing objectives Contribute ideas and guidance for creative in advertisements, social media, websites and other high-profile marketing assets Leads the development of creative briefs and utilizes design methodologies that meet business objectives and timelines of the bank. Be accountable for the creation and delivery of dynamic creative design work from conception through to production. This will involve researching, brainstorming and creating concepts in collaboration with the marketing team and relevant stakeholders, working from an initial brief to final sign-off. Lead larger initiatives to create engaging content for use across social, websites, display ads, email marketing, video, print collateral, television, radio, event branding and promotional material. Evaluates and adopts the most effective tools and techniques across all media Partner with internal leadership peers to understand business needs, prioritize work, and identify new capabilities required of the creative team. Ensures that project milestones are met adhering to approved budgets Work collaboratively the bank’s retained advertising agency LEADERSHIP: Promote and encourage F&M culture and values; promotes a highly engaged and productive work environment, where employees feel comfortable speaking up about issues and can realize their best lives. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in related field 7+ years’ experience in a creative marketing role Knowledge and Skills: Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite Experience with prioritizing and managing high workloads and executing under tight deadlines Excellent verbal and written skills with proven ability to champion recommendations and influence decisions at all levels of the company Must be able to provide a high attention to detail Embrace feedback throughout the creative and production process and iterate quickly Flexibility/adaptability (ability to change direction based upon, business, team and stakeholder consensus). Self-starter, high initiative, resourceful Creative drive and a keen eye for innovated ideas and trends Ability to produce quality projects consistently ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Certificates and Licenses Valid Driver’s License COMPLIANCE: As generally applicable to F&M Bank and commensurate with these job functions, this job role includes accountabilities for following Bank policies and related procedures, as well as regulatory requirements involving federal and state laws, regulations, and related guidance. Compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), including accurate completion of Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) when applicable, Anti-Money Laundering Act (AML), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) and the USA PATRIOT Act. Adhere to Customer Identification, Customer Due Diligence and reporting of suspicious activities to the BSA Department.
