CREATIVE DESIGNER- PRE-PRESS SPECIALIST - DOWNTOWN, TORONTO

TPH operates 65 production centres across Canada to serve our customers where and when they need it. We are currently looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Creative Designer who will be responsible for pre-press production including print readiness of supplied files, creation of specialty ink layers, specialty after press embellishment layers, readiness for DTG apparel printing and more.
The work that the Creative Designer does, is important, as this is where the print files are confirmed ready to print, special layers are added for custom inks, custom finishing, custom apparel printing and other finishing touches and embellishments happen. You will be adding value to every project by ensuring that the final product meets the specifications requested by the customer, and the quality that TPH is known for.
Job Type: Current Vacancy for Full-time, Permanent.
Compensation range: $22-$23 per hour based on experience
Expected hours: 40 per week.

Responsibilities
  • Pre-flighting Customer files against work order specifications
  • Preparing digital, offset, large format and 4-colour files for output.
  • Ensuring that custom apparel graphics are setup for compatibility with our technology.
  • Operating DTG-Custom Apparel printers and finishing equipment.
  • Working with various programs: Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Pit Stop, MS Office
  • Working with and manipulating printable PDF’s
  • Consulting with Customers on design, layout and making revisions as required.
  • Maintaining accuracydetail in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Good understanding of the Pantone Colour System, CMYKRGB colour spaces
