Description Helping Hand is seeking a Creative Designer to develop visually compelling, mission-driven content that supports our communications, fundraising, and brand initiatives. This role works closely with Program teams to translate our mission into engaging visual storytelling across digital and print platforms. The Creative Designer ensures all creative materials align with Helping Hand's brand standards while effectively communicating the impact of our work to donors, partners, and the community. SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION: On-site position, 40 hours per week. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Graphic Design and Content Creation Design brochures, reports, social media graphics, presentations, infographics, and event materials. Create visuals for fundraising campaigns, donor communications, and program storytelling. Develop digital content for websites, email campaigns, and social media platforms. Brand Management Apply and maintain brand guidelines across all materials. Ensure visual consistency across campaigns, publications, and digital channels. Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the organization's brand identity. Marketing and Campaign Support Design materials supporting fundraising campaigns and donor engagement. Develop creative assets for annual reports, grant proposals, donor presentations, and impact stories. Support strategic communications initiatives through visual storytelling. Digital Media Create graphics and simple motion assets for digital platforms. Optimize creative assets for web and email marketing. Assist with visual updates to the organization's website. Fundraising Event Support Design promotional materials for fundraising events, including flyers, social graphics, digital ads, and event visuals. Develop donor recognition materials such as sponsorship packets, event programs, and presentation slides. Create visuals that highlight organizational impact, including infographics and mission-driven storytelling. Collaboration Collaborate with others to ensure cohesive messaging and storytelling. Coordinate marketing efforts across departments to support agency initiatives and events. Participate in agency meetings, events, and trainings as needed Requirements WHAT YOU BRING: Education/Training Associate or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Non-Profit Management, or related field required. Will consider an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience: 3-5 years of progressive experience in marketing, communications, or related fields. Demonstrated experience leading integrated marketing strategies tied to fundraising or revenue goals. Experience in a nonprofit or mission-driven environment preferred. Strong portfolio demonstrating print and digital design work. Skill Sets: Design: Adobe Creative Studio (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva or similar design platforms, Constant Contact and Figma, or other digital design tools. Creative: Strong typography, layout and visual storytelling skills, ability to translate mission-driven messaging into compelling visuals. Working knowledge of digital platforms, content management systems, and analytics. Excellent organizational and project management skills, ability to manage multiple priorities. Passion for mission-driven work and commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities. Creative thinking and visual storytelling. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and ongoing personal motor vehicle insurance. Ability to promote and adhere to company values. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The person in this position needs to occasionally move about to assist others, access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. The ability to observe details at a close range (within a few feet of the observer). Must be able to exchange accurate information in all situations. This position operates in a shared office environment with cubicles.
