Description

The Live Action team of our AI Studio is seeking a Creative Executive. We are seeking a technology-forward creative and production team member responsible for contributing to the production standard of GenAI live-action projects. This role combines deep traditional production experience with cutting-edge GenAI artistry, enabling us to achieve final pixel delivery with cinematic results. AI Studios is a newly established org that leads the global strategy and execution for integrating AI across the creative and production lifecycle at Amazon MGM Studios. Our goal is to advance how stories are developed, produced, and experienced by using new technology as a tool, with human creativity and control at the center, empowering creators. Key job responsibilities * Pioneering Execution: Execute and drive the end-to-end creative production process, delivering on the complex creative vision of high-fidelity assets using Generative AI tools. * Workflow Development: Contribute to and implement new AI-driven workflows across pre-production and post-production, identifying areas for optimization. * Aesthetic & Quality Control: Apply established filmmaking expertise to ensure visual continuity, high fidelity, and cinematic quality in all AI-generated content. * Technical Proficiency: Maintains proficient application in both legacy industry software and emerging generative tools; proactively troubleshoot technical pipelines and ensure smooth asset transfer. * Creative R&D: Independently research, test, and document new generative models and techniques to expand the division's creative and technical capabilities. * Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with internal production teams to integrate AI assets effectively and ethically into the final image. Basic Qualifications: - 3+ years of creative executive experience - Experience working with other departments such as casting, production, research, PR, business and legal affairs - Experience overseeing all creative aspects of development production and post production - Production Experience: 3-8+ years of direct experience with high-fidelity visual production, filmmaking, VFX, Art Direction, or related creative fields. - Hybrid Execution: Proven ability to execute hands-on creative work, seamlessly blending traditional artistic judgment with technical proficiency in generative AI tools. - Software Fluency: High proficiency in industry-standard creative software and strong command of current GenAI platforms. - Visual Mastery: Exceptional aesthetic judgment, composition, and visual storytelling skills, demonstrated through a professional portfolio of executed projects. - Pipeline Agility: Ability to rapidly troubleshoot and optimize complex technical and creative pipelines under ambitious project deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: - Specialized Mastery: Proven proficiency in specialized GenAI techniques, such as custom model usage or achieving photorealistic control in specific assets. - Workflow Automation: Experience with workflow automation and technical pipeline scripting (e.g., Python) for personal or small team use. - Ethical Acumen: A strong understanding of data governance, intellectual property (IP) issues, and ethical considerations surrounding generative media in a studio environment. - Leadership/Guidance: Previous experience guiding or mentoring junior colleagues on the integration of new technologies. - R&D Mindset: A history of contributing to R&D by testing and documenting new production methodologies. The base pay for this position ranges from $100,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $183,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
