As part of a dedicated team of Creative Lifestyle Facilitators and local volunteers, you will have the opportunity to craft meaningful experiences for our residents. Whether it’s music, movement, arts, storytelling, or interactive games, your unique talents will help create a vibrant and fulfilling environment.
We are looking for someone who is warm, engaging, and client-focused, with a genuine passion for enriching the lives of others. Whether you have experience facilitating group activities or simply have a creative skill or hobby you’d love to share, we would love to hear from you!

We provide aged care, retirement living and home care services for older people, with community services including mental health, disability, youth and family, and domestic and family violence support. Part of Lutheran Services, Cooinda Aged Care service in Gympie is community-focused and committed to providing compassionate and high-quality care to our residents. Cooinda is set against a beautiful country setting on 25 acres, nestled amongst bushland and surrounded by native wildlife.

Responsibilities
  • Planning and facilitating individual and group creative lifestyle activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.
  • Collaborating with residents, families, and care staff to assess and meet social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
  • Ensuring that all residents, including those unable to participate in group activities, feel supported and engaged.
  • Providing technical assistance, such as setting up virtual meetings or digital engagement tools.
  • Building strong relationships and fostering a welcoming and inclusive community for all residents.
