Job Overview:
We are looking for a Creative Marketing Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis (16-25 hours/week) with the potential to increase hours as our business grows. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for designing and creating engaging content for a variety of platforms, including digital screens, social media, and email campaigns. You’ll also play a pivotal role in helping to develop marketable online courses for our audience. The ideal candidate should be familiar with the hair, beauty, and aesthetics industry and have a keen eye for design and content strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Create Digital Screen Content: Design visually appealing slides for our digital screen displays in store windows to attract attention and engage passersby.
• Social Media Graphics: Design eye-catching graphics and visuals for our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) that align with brand guidelines and engage our audience.
• Email Campaigns & Newsletters: Develop and design email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotions, and course updates. Ensure emails are visually engaging, optimised for different devices, and drive conversions.
• Course Creation Support: Collaborate with the team to conceptualise and design marketable online courses. Your creative ideas will play a key role in shaping our curriculum and how we present it to potential learners.
• Brand Consistency: Maintain a consistent visual identity across all marketing materials and platforms.
• Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with trends and developments in the hair, beauty, and aesthetics industry. Apply this knowledge to create relevant and engaging content that resonates with our audience.
• Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and content teams to develop and execute campaigns that drive traffic, engagement, and conversions.
• Analytics & Optimisation: Monitor the performance of digital content and campaigns. Use insights to optimise future efforts and ensure maximum impact.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a creative or marketing role, ideally within the hair, beauty, and aesthetics industry.
• Design Skills: Proficient in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.). Strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create visually compelling content across various platforms.
• Industry Familiarity: Strong understanding of the hair, beauty, and aesthetics industry, with the ability to speak the language of our target market and audience.
• Creativity & Innovation: Ability to come up with fresh ideas for content, courses, and campaigns. Must be able to work independently and contribute to the growth of our brand.
• Strong Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey messages clearly and effectively.
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Hybrid Work Flexibility: Must be comfortable working in a hybrid work environment. Flexible schedule with the ability to work both remotely and in-office as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in e-learning/course creation or familiarity with platforms like Teachable, Thinkific, or similar.
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS for email and web design.
• Understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics.
• A passion for the beauty and wellness industry.

Required Samples for Consideration:

As part of the application process, candidates will be required to submit a sample email campaign they have created in the past, or to design a sample email marketing campaign for our brand. This will allow us to evaluate your creativity, attention to detail, and ability to produce effective, engaging content that aligns with our brand and target audience. Your submission should include:

• A complete email campaign design (mock-up or past work)
• An explanation of the strategy behind the design and how it caters to our target market
• Any relevant results or metrics (if applicable) from previous campaigns
