MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Creative Officer will be responsible for the creation of all media/visuals including social media advertisements, videos and animations, website content and brand assets for our events and offices. You will also support our social media channels, helping to post content and respond to student enquiries. You should be proficient in using design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Your work will increase student engagement and lead generation to secure company growth. The Creative Officer will be responsible for ensuring brand consistency throughout the entire organisation, ensuring we remain recognisable and relevant.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Utilising graphic design software to create engaging visual content
· Take briefs from internal stakeholders to understand creative needs
· You will need to produce many social media adverts, often several per day, including promotion of British higher education, our university partners, courses and our GSUK events and GSA
· Producing other ad-hoc visual assets which will be used offline for brand promotion such as banners and flyers
· Social media accounts management such as connecting enquiries and support requests sent to our social media channels with the right person at GSUK
· Ensuring the appearances of website domains are accurate and eye-catching
· Write and publish blog posts for all our web domains, on a daily basis to improve website SEO scores
· Monitor trends in design and keeping up to date with emerging technologies
· General digital design housekeeping such as file management and archiving
· Represent Global Study UK at our international events with occasional travel to the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region
· Working closely with the events, PR and marketing teams to develop future campaigns and improve student engagement
· Presenting ideas to CEO and Directors for approval and development, and writing copy through several stages of concepts and executions
