Summary: The Creative Production Specialist position includes creation, production and completion of video production, graphic design, audio and other media forms of communication for all audience groups. This position is responsible for strategic and operational management and implementation of activities related to the conception, design, creation, development, and distribution of media for broadcast television, audio, online, and emerging digital platforms. The position will be responsible for gathering all information needed to complete tasks and do so in very short timelines.

  • Strategic digital media management
  • Develop and manage a content calendar that accounts for seasonal and strategic initiatives.
  • Create and review content with a focus on seasonal relevance and long-term strategic goals.
  • Manage the full content production workflow from request to delivery, ensuring all material are completed within a three-business day timeline. Full story boarding and campaign development for projects.
  • Generate and publish new enterprise content on a weekly basis, effectively managing a diverse range of platforms, from social media and google business to the company website and email campaigns. Must be proficient in both video and still photography, graphic design, emerging content creation styles and trends.
  • Maintenance and/or oversight of equipment, facilities, production, and distribution-related activities.
  • Must be able to work across Adobe Cloud products, and other design elements and software.
  • Ability to convert files in multiple formats, sizes, and distribute across different formats as needed.
  • Full script writing in a media format with AP style writing required.
  • Must be able to enterprise broadcast television style stories and scripts that are fully enterprise from the employee each week, receive approval and produce within three days.
  • Must be able to present requested script and video stories on a weekly basis.
  • Must be able to edit videos up to 10 minutes in length.
  • Must be able to shoot clear, white balanced, consistent video with clear audio (both natural sound and mic audio.)
  • Must be able to produce, shoot and edit natural sound only videos as needed.
  • Execute all facets of digital media productions from high end-scanning and professional photography to advanced video acquisition and production.
  • Manage post-production processes, including color separations, image correction, and advanced editing for both still and video assets.
  • Create dynamic visual content, including 2D/3D animation, visualizations, and animated infographics. Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours as needed.
  • Ability to proactively create materials in other languages or with alt text for different audiences.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  •  8+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, video production, mass communications, or marketing.
  • 2+ years of media relations experience
  • Full video production reel required to be submitted with application. Should showcase video production, graphic design, still photography and content creation and transformation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in film, communication, marketing, graphic design or a related field.
  • 12 + years of experience with media, media production, design and brand enhancement
  • Proficient in adobe cloud suite software, along with other video and graphic design platforms.
  • Proficient in script writing. producing and creation of video content
  • Proficient in video editing and distribution across multiple platforms and configurations.
  • Canva, MailChimp or equivalent experience
  • Examples of social media strategy documents and social calendaring
  • Experience in responding to negative comments and direct messaging
  • Experience in health care

  • Collaborate in the creative direction and oversee the development of video and audio content
  • Comply with accessibility standards, contractual obligations, confidentiality and privacy policies, and style and standard guidelines
  • Participate in the development of strategies for user experiences; make recommendations to enhance learning and/or user engagement.
  • Review final drafts for photographer credit, copyright, captions, and any legal or contractual usage policies
  • May design and maintain websites, including development of new functionality, content updates, style and layout, and accessibility
  • Provide advice and guidance in the design of systems, concepts, and solutions
  • Thorough understanding of information technology and information technology systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; SharePoint, OneDrive, WordPress and other business-related software systems
  • Use of Windows Explorer (electronic file-handling)
