Description

LOCATION: NORTH CHICAGO (THE SUBURB) ALMOST ON THE BORDER OF WI AND IL.

Our client, a large pharmaceutical company located in North Chicago is seeking a creative project manager to join their team overseeing all kinds of creative needs for internal/external communication, events, meetings and much more. This department fields a ton of requests that are then dispersed among the creative teams to execute. A professional with an ad agency background will work best as there are dozens of internal clients that need to be managed. Using PM Software such as Asana and Smartsheets, the Project Manager will follow client direction, sit in on creative meetings, create scope of work, create estimates, secure resources, and manage timelines and budgets to meet client expectations. Projects may include awareness campaigns, product launches, sales support/training materials, meetings, events, corporate communication initiatives, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications or other related field
  • 2-5 years of experience working as a Project Manager/Account Manager. Agency experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of visual communication design and production
  • Understanding of marketing concepts, event production and digital media
  • Must have strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage dozens of projects at various stages of the life cycle
  • Be able to adapt and re-prioritize at a moment’s notice

  • Participate in the creative conceptualization process by providing complete project scope to the creative team. Prioritize projects and assure appropriate resources are allocatedproperly.
  • Manage execution of project plans and timelines to meet project deadlines without exception.
  • Responsible for estimates, quotes, and invoice projects monthly.ability to adapt to changing external influences.
  • Ability to build relationships quickly will be an asset to the success in this role.
