Description We are seeking an experienced Creative Services Director to lead the design strategy for MetroNational’s in-house creative team delivering branding, marketing, and collateral for executives, events, community, development and leasing across office, retail, multifamily, hospitality, and medical. In addition, the Director will manage workflow and prioritize creative needs across all MetroNational teams as well as support brand projects with outside agencies. They will lead and inspire our creative team in the development and execution of high-impact materials. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and creative problem-solver with a strong background in design, content, and multimedia production. They will also manage all projects requiring market research utilizing both internal and external research tools, including TruTrade and Placer.ai. They will oversee all aspects of creative development, ensuring brand consistency, innovation, and excellence across all platforms. This role will report to the VP of Marketing. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the creative services department, including designers, copywriters, video producers, and freelancers while prioritizing design projects with the SVP of Experience and VP of Marketing Serve as a Player – Coach with player responsibilities to include: leasing decks, site and window signage, wayfinding, broker tour kits, tenant launch kits, event collateral, and digital signage strategy Develop and implement creative strategies aligning with brand identity and business goals Collaborate cross-functionally with experience, community development, leasing, development, and executive teams to understand needs and translate them into compelling visual and written communications Maintain and evolve the brand’s visual identity and voice, ensuring consistency across all materials Manage the creative process from concept through completion, including timelines, workflows, approvals, and deliverables Manage external creative agencies, production vendors, and freelancers as needed Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement Monitor creative performance and support optimization through analytics and user feedback Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing creative team Requirements Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus 8+ years of creative experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership role Proven portfolio of work showcasing creative leadership across various media Deep understanding of branding, storytelling, digital marketing, and design principles Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments Ability to provide constructive feedback and foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and collaboration Preferred Qualifications: Experience in office, retail, multifamily property development and management Familiarity with video production and animation workflows Understanding of UX/UI design principles and tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD) Working knowledge of SEO and content marketing best practices CORE COMPETENCIES: ALL Employees Team Oriented: The ability to work effectively with others and to add value within the dynamics of the Company’s group endeavor.
