Description
Mara Paris is a Parisian jewelry brand founded in 2015 at the intersection of architecture, art, and craft. Our pieces are sculptural, wearable, and worn by the likes of Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Kylie Jenner, and Halle Berry. We're growing and we're opening a new fine jewelry showroom in Paris. We need a Creative Strategist who can hold two things at once: content that converts, and a brand that never loses its edge. If your instinct is to reach for a trending hook before asking whether it belongs on us, this isn't the role for you. If you understand how to make something feel genuinely on brand, desirable and perform, we'd like to meet you. This isn't a social media manager role. It's for someone who thinks in hooks, shoots with intention, and reads conversion data with the same curiosity they bring to a mood board. What you'll do Own the monthly content calendar across organic and paid Instagram. 20–30 assets per month minimum, mixing statics, reels, UGC-style formats, and story sequences, all held to a consistently high aesthetic bar Brief and direct photo and video shoots. You may shoot yourself or work with freelancers Analyze ad creative performance daily, kill what isn't working, and iterate fast Collaborate with the founders on campaign strategy for new collections, seasonal moments, and the showroom launch Stay obsessively close to what the best D2C brands and luxury independents are doing globally, but filter them through our brand, not copy them What we're looking for 3–6 years in a creative or content strategy role at a D2C brand, performance-driven agency, or digitally native fashion, jewelry, or luxury lifestyle label A natural storyteller who understands that brand building and performance marketing are not opposites and can operate at both ends without compromise A genuine sensitivity to luxury codes. You instinctively know the difference between content that converts and content that cheapens, and you never confuse the two Broad international cultural awareness: You follow brands and campaigns from New York to Paris to Milan, and you know what great looks like across markets Strong portfolio with evidence of creative that is both beautiful and effective, brands with taste that also grew Comfortable in both creative and analytical modes: you can mood board in the morning and read Meta Ads Manager or Google Ads in the afternoon A self-starter who takes ownership without being asked, moves fast without cutting aesthetic corners, and stays calm when there's no precedent to follow Hands-on experience building things from scratch. You've taken a content programme or creative direction from zero to something real, not just executed briefs handed down from above. You know what it feels like to make the first call, set the first standard, and own the outcome. A genuine eye for jewelry, fashion, or lifestyle aesthetics, you understand what makes a product feel desirable at different price points, from accessible to fine Based in Paris Fluent in French and English; a third language is a bonus
Responsibilities
The Creative Strategist will own the monthly content calendar across organic and paid Instagram, producing 20-30 high-aesthetic assets monthly, and will be responsible for briefing and directing photo and video shoots. They must also analyze ad creative performance daily and collaborate with founders on campaign strategy for new collections and the showroom launch.
