Creative Teacher — The Complete Works (TCW) for September 2025South (SE1) & East (E1) London | Mondays and Thursdays (Full-time potential) | £28,300 (£11,300 2 days)
As we step into a new academic year, we’re excited to open up new opportunities across our growing schools. If you’re looking for a role where you can truly make a difference, now’s the time to join us.
TCW is an alternative independent school providing bespoke education for students across Key Stages 1–5 who are unable to attend mainstream settings. Many of our students have SEND or have experienced school exclusion. We work across London, providing 1:1 and small group teaching in homes, centres, and libraries – always striving to reignite a love of learning in our students.
We will be interviewing applicants as and when we receive successful applications - so don’t delay in sending your application!

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re on the hunt for a passionate and imaginative Creative Teacher to deliver exciting, meaningful lessons to students who haven’t always felt inspired by education. Whether you’re an artist, designer, performer, or multi-disciplinary creative, if you have experience teaching and want to work in a supportive, values-driven environment, we’d love to hear from you.
This role involves leading small groups and 1:1 sessions onsite at our South London and East London schools, guiding students through vocational and qualification-based creative projects. You’ll also collaborate with and support a team of offsite teachers delivering complementary creative subjects – helping to shape a consistent and inspiring creative curriculum across TCW.
Want to work full time? You can supplement this role with core subject teaching (Maths, English, Science) across London.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality creative lessons to students in 1:1 and small group settings.
  • Adapt and personalise schemes of work to suit individual student interests, needs and abilities.
  • Supervise and support a team of offsite creative teachers, ensuring consistency and quality in delivery.
  • Oversee and track the creative progress of up to 20 assigned students.
  • Prepare and teach content aligned with qualifications (e.g. Unit Awards, Entry Level, GCSE), ensuring timely exam entries.
