In order to support our rapid growth we are seeking to hire for the season 2026 a Creche Assistant . Position Summary The Creche Assistant will implement our Excellence Culture at our resort, Helea Lifestyle Beach Resort, in Rhodes. The Creche Assistant supports the daily care, supervision, and well-being of infants and toddlers aged 0–4, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and nurturing environment. The role focuses on providing attentive care and supporting early developmental and sensory activities, while contributing to a high-quality childcare service that offers reassurance and trust to parents. Main Responsibilities Assist in the daily care and continuous supervision of infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times. Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in accordance with crèche procedures and health regulations. Support the implementation of simple developmental, sensory, and age-appropriate activities that promote early learning and stimulation. Assist with routines such as feeding, napping, diaper changing, and comforting children as required. Observe children’s behavior and development, promptly reporting any concerns to the Crèche Supervisor. Communicate professionally and sensitively with parents or guardians, providing reassurance and basic updates on their child’s care. Work closely with the Crèche team to ensure smooth daily operations and consistent care standards. Ensure that toys, equipment, and facilities are clean, safe, and properly organized. Follow all policies and procedures related to child protection, health, safety, and emergency response. Degree, diploma, or studies in Early Childhood Education, Infant Care, Nursery Education, or a related field (preferred). Previous experience in a crèche, nursery school, daycare center, or similar childcare environment. Very good command of English (additional languages are considered an asset). First Aid Certification (preferred). Training or knowledge in Special Education or inclusive childcare practices (preferred). High level of empathy, patience, and genuine care for infants and young children. Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail. Calm and reassuring presence, especially in demanding situations. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Professional attitude and respect for confidentiality. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
