    Overview:
    We are seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our growing team and help ensure we are providing those great experiences.     Responsibilities / Qualifications:

POSITION SKILLS:

  • Professional client communication and education obtaining medical histories and symptoms
  • Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals
  • Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staff members
  • Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anaesthesia monitoring
  • Proficient in dental prophylaxis

Position Requirements:

  • Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.
  • Associates degree in Veterinary Technology
