BrightSpan Health is seeking a highly organized and driven Credentialing & Contracting Specialist with a strong background in behavioral health operations. This role requires a professional who excels in credentialing, payer contracting, and compliance across multiple states, with a strong focus on accuracy, quality control, and time-sensitive execution. What you'll do Contracting Prepare and manage payer contracts for provider entities across multiple states. Collaborate with payers to facilitate implementations, press for resolution of issues when outside of credentialing timelines and improve credentialing/contracting processes Credentialing Manage credentialing and re-credentialing processes for all providers. Submit applications to payors within a timely manner and ensure processing with the payors. Obtain information regarding changes with the payor networks that affect any credentialing or contracting. Set up and maintain accurate CAQH profiles and ensure timely submission of required documentation. Track credentialing statuses and ensure no lapses in network participation. Coordinate provider enrollment with multiple state Medicaid programs. Ensure all documents meet state-specific requirements and submit within required timelines. Compliance & Quality Control Maintain expert knowledge of credentialing regulations and compliance requirements across various states. What you'll need Minimum of 3 years’ experience in credentialing and contracting in a behavioral health or ABA setting (4–5 years preferred). Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy and quality standards. Excellent time management skills with a demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and handle competing priorities efficiently. Strong interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams Proficiency in credentialing databases (e.g., CAQH), payer portals, and Microsoft Office Suite.
