Description Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dental Credentialing Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of provider enrollment and credentialing with dental insurance carriers, ensuring timely approvals and maintaining accurate records across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is proactive, efficient, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Complete provider enrollment and re-credentialing applications with all major dental insurance carriers. Track application progress, follow up with payers, and resolve any delays or discrepancies. Maintain accurate credentialing files and organized documentation within Google Drive. Monitor expirations of licenses, DEA, malpractice insurance, and other required documents; request and update renewals as needed. Collaborate with internal teams, providers, and office managers to gather required documentation. Update credentialing spreadsheets, logs, and shared folders to ensure real-time accuracy. Communicate clearly and professionally with insurance representatives and internal stakeholders. Assist with credentialing-related audits, reporting, and special projects as needed. Requirements Qualifications: Previous experience in dental credentialing or dental insurance administration strongly preferred. Strong understanding of dental insurance networks, payer requirements, and provider enrollment processes. Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines at once. Proficient in Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets) with strong file-organization skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and problem-solve proactively. Preferred Skills: Experience with credentialing software or tracking systems. Familiarity with multi-location dental groups or DSOs. High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy.
