Overview Responsible for the processing of Medical Staff and Allied Health Professional applications, support of assigned Medical Staff Departments, Divisions, and Committees, distribution of the Medical Staff calendar, distribution of call schedules, and other functions / responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications EDUCATION: High School graduate. Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional in Medical Staff Services (CPMSM) desirable. EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years in health care / medical office preferred. Previous administrative assistant experience and experience in credentialing desirable. ADDITIONAL SKILLS/ABILITIES: Proficient in typing and use of Microsoft Word & Excel. Knowledge of medical terminology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
