Description Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Credit Administrator to join our automotive/ remanufacturing team. The Credit Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient and accurate management of the company's credit operations. They are responsible for monitoring credits on accounts and collaborating with internal teams to maintain healthy financial relationships with customers. The Credit Administrator also assists in minimizing credit exposure, ensuring compliance with credit policies and procedures. Requirements Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Process and issue credits on core returns, good returns, warranty returns and labor. Ensuring all documentation and parts meet company specifications. Balance multiple deadlines and functions to ensure smooth and effective operation of Credit program Research and resolve any incomplete or rejected claims by gathering additional information and resubmitting paperwork as needed. Communicate with sales and operations departments to ensure proper procedures are followed for core returns, unit returns, warranties and labor credits. Maintain meticulous records of all core returns, warranty claims, and associated credits, ensuring compliance with both company and manufacturer policies. Prepare and present credit reports to management Maintain open lines of communication with customers regarding credit terms, payment schedules, and resolving credit-related inquiries or disputes. Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure that credits are accurately posted to customer accounts. Handle incoming calls, questions and inquiries related to credit administration. Other tasks as business needs require Preferred Education and Experience: · 2-year college degree or equivalent combination of accounting, finance or Business OR Proven experience in a credit or accounting role within the automotive industry. Knowledge and Personal Attributes: Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines. Must be a self-disciplined self-starter and possess good business acumen. Strong attention to detail with ability to use data to improve business outcomes. Ability to follow through on a project from inception to completion. Strong communication skills, both oral and written for interacting with internal and external departments. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Microsoft Office experience in Word, Excel and Outlook Physical Ability to sit for extended periods working at a computer. Occasional lifting and moving of automotive cores, or boxes of files may be required.
