As part of MCB’s CIB division, the Credit Analysis Business Unit provides credit analysis services of the highest standards establishing, prepping and devising credit solutions to various local and international corporate customers. Job Vacancy: Credit Analysis Lead As Credit Analysis Lead, you will lead sophisticated credit transactions for large corporate and conglomerate clients, ensuring rigorous assessment and sound decision‑making. Alongside managing high‑value deals, the incumbent also provides strategic guidance to junior team members through coaching, mentoring, and reviewing credit proposals to maintain high quality standards and ensure alignment with internal risk frameworks. In this role, you will: Lead complex and high-value credit assessment, including analysing corporate financials, projections, debt covenant conditions and evaluate risk in large, complex deals such as syndicated facilities, acquisition financing and cross-border financing; Utilise advanced financial modelling techniques, scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis to assess creditworthiness of a borrower; Prepare detailed credit proposal that outline the keys financial highlights; recommendation for facility amount and structure; mitigation of identified risks and preparation of Term Sheets for complex transaction; Work with the Team Leader and Coverage Teams to determine acceptable risk exposure across various portfolio and clusters; Lead discussion with Clients, Coverage Teams, Risk and legal department as and when required; Make recommendation to the Executive Credit Committee regarding the risk exposure level which will be acceptable on the various portfolio and clusters; Participate in the elaboration of internal training sessions to improve financial analysis and credit risk management knowledge of the credit analysis team; Mentor and provide leadership to Senior Credit Analyst, Credit Analyst and Associate Credit Analyst helping them to develop their skills in credit analysis and structuring of facilities. We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of: EITHER A Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Finance, Finance , Accounting, Management or any relevant field; 5 years' of working experience in the credit or financial analysis field and risk assessment in the Banking/Financial Services; Experience at a supervisory level will be considered as an advantage; OR A Diploma in Banking & Finance, Finance , Accounting, Management or any relevant field; 7 years' of equivalent working experience in the credit or financial analysis field and risk assessment in the Banking/Financial Services; Experience at a supervisory level will be considered as an advantage.
