Based in Sydney CBD, the team is high-performing, partnering with sophisticated businesses across diversified industries, with a strong focus on cash‑flow lending and complex credit requirements. You’ll work closely with our most senior Relationship Executives on complex transactions, gaining hands‑on exposure across the full deal and portfolio lifecycle. Do work that matters: As an Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in assessing risk and opportunity across new lending, credit increases and ongoing portfolio management for top tier commercial banking customers. Using strong financial analysis, modelling and credit judgement, you’ll support high‑quality credit outcomes that balance commercial growth with disciplined risk management, directly contributing to sustainable client success and team performance. Your role will involve: Completing financial analysis, cash flow modelling, and risk assessment for commercial banking clients Preparing high‑quality credit submissions for new facilities, renewals, and credit increases Supporting end‑to‑end deal execution, including documentation coordination and funding processes Assisting with portfolio management activities, including annual reviews, covenant monitoring, and performance analysis Maintaining portfolio data quality, compliance, and reporting standards Partnering with internal stakeholders to deliver timely and commercially sound outcomes Identifying emerging risks and contributing to risk mitigation strategies What we're looking for: 2+ years’ experience in a Commercial Banking Analyst, Associate, or relevant credit role Demonstrated experience writing and analysing credit submissions, ideally for $10-20M+ lending exposures Strong financial analysis and cash flow assessment capability Commercial acumen and the ability to quickly understand complex business models and transactions Experience supporting new‑to‑bank transactions and ongoing portfolio risk management Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced team environment A tertiary qualification in accounting, economics, finance, or commerce is an asset, supported by relevant experience If you’re looking to take the next step in your Commercial Banking career and want exposure to complex deals within a supportive, high‑performing team, we’d love to hear from you.
