We are centrally located in Dallas at Spring Valley and Dallas North Tollway and looking for a portfolio manager who wants stability, growth opportunity, and an excellent compensation and benefits package.
In this position you are responsible for preparing credit analysis (C&I / Middle Market / Private) on current and potential borrowers/loan accounts, conducting industry research while supporting the banking officers in granting credit, managing a robust pipeline and deadlines, and monitoring loan files for adequate and current financial information and documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent.
  • 3 - 5 years commercial bank credit underwriting/portfolio management experience.
  • Completion of a formal credit training program a plus.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of loan documentation and bank rules and regulations, BSA, KYC, CRA, compliance.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of intermediate accounting and its practical application in the credit underwriting process.
  • Demonstrated ability to critically think, formulate and support credit decisions, and logically defend positions.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate on behalf of the Bank and the borrower while appropriately balancing risk and shareholder value.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to read, understand and explain complex information.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management abilities.
  • Superior verbal and written communication, presentation, and technical skills.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, commitment to the job, and flexibility as business dictates.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with software such as Moody’s.
