FirsTier Bank is a family-owned community bank currently servicing 10 branch markets throughout Colorado, Wyoming and Nebraska. We are currently searching for a Credit Analyst to join our Broomfield, Colorado team.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates the financial condition of individuals and businesses applying for business lending credit with the bank.
  • Analyzes loan data on new, renewal and exiting business loans, including data provided by credit bureaus, other banks and bank files.
  • Interprets financial data to evaluate credit risk.
  • Collect loan applications, preparation of loan proposals and renewals for submission to loan committee for approval.
  • Coordinate loan document preparation and closings.
  • Conduct customer calls to collect underwriting documentation and for delinquent payments.
  • Maintain credit files.
  • Other duties as assigned by branch management.

Job Type: Full-time; Monday to Friday; 40 hours per week

Qualifications:

  • Requires strong organizational and computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Experience interpreting and spreading financial information - five years minimum; (prior experience working with a commercial real estate lending group preferred).
  • Experience with FinPak/Moody’s spread software, FiServ and LaserPro a plus.
  • Ability to build rapport with branch personnel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • A high level of accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to manage and complete multiple tasks at a fast pace to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or a related field desirable.
  • Previous experience working directly with the public preferred.

Pay Range: $83,200 to $93,600. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience.
