Job Details Job Location: Tulsa-Yale - Tulsa, OK 74137 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: 4 Year Degree Travel Percentage: Negligible Job Shift: Day Job Category: Banking The Credit Analyst I is responsible for the investigation and analysis of credit risks. The Credit Analyst I resolves simple credit problems, develops and maintains financial background information on present and prospective customers, and develops credit studies for loan officers and committees. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Analyzes all customer financial information, including but not limited to, business tax returns and financial statements, personal tax returns and financial statements, credit reports, rent rolls, budgets, projections and any other financial information available. Prepares cash flow models for the basis of credit decisions. Performs basic and preliminary credit analyses, identifying risks. Ensures all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Researches markets and industries and prepare reports for management. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in business-related field, or minimum 3 years’ equivalent work experience, required. 1-2 years’ experience in commercial credit analysis and/or commercial lending, required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Basic understanding of underwriting income-producing real estate. Basic understanding in C&I underwriting. Good working knowledge of lending processes and subject matter. Ability to handle complex issues and problems; excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. A significant level of trust and diplomacy required.
