Description

Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Credit Analyst II to join our Financial Services team in Marietta, GA. The Credit Analyst II, under the direction of the Credit Group Manager, completes customer due diligence in accordance with company policies and procedures, conducts research, financial analysis, manages conditions and documentation for large new and large existing Yamaha dealerships with more complex structures and analysis needed to complete deal set up or continuation.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • 3 + years of commercial lending or underwriting/financial analysis experience or equivalent experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Cross-functional team environment skill set and ability to work independently
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication & presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and work as needed to ensure deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimal travel required

  • Experience with internal and/or external auditors.
  • Experience with development and/or maintenance of tracking tools including process workflow or compliance with internally set guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct due diligence/risk assessment of medium/large new prospect files, financial analysis, credit line recommendation, and documentation requirements.
  • Structure complex transactions and negotiate complex credit documentation to mitigate risk appropriately
  • Complete medium and large annual dealer reviews based on company policy. Assess risk through financial analysis and operational performance, recommend credit line, conditions, and documentation needed to continue dealer relationship
  • Provide internal and external communication between sales, financial services, and new prospects
  • Work within assigned portfolio to credit review and assess significant changes to existing dealers and determine go-forward security and documentation requirements (buyouts, ownership restructuring, additional collateral). Use assigned credit authority to monitor a significant portion of the portfolio on an autonomous basis.
  • Complete special reviews associated with permanent increases, temporary increases, overlines, product additions, financial triggers, and high-risk account monitoring
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to executives and external clients.
  • Help develop streamlined tracking tools for workflow management and JSOX Compliance. Own buildout and day-to-day monitoring of these tools
  • Other projects, assignments, or functions in support of portfolio risk management as needed
  • Decision authority on small/medium credit lines based on policy. Authority will include autonomous decisioning of complex transactions.
  • Ability to work independently with supervision on quality of work and timely completion.
