Join our expanding European Credit Research business within Macquarie Asset Management Credit, in London. We work closely with various trading desks to understand the risk nature of transactions and ensure robust credit analysis and approval processes. You will collaborate closely with our European credit team based in London, performing fundamental research on financial companies.
At Macquarie, our advantage is bringing together diverse people and empowering them to shape all kinds of possibilities. We are a global financial services group operating in 31 markets and with 56 years of unbroken profitability. You’ll be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone - no matter what role - contributes ideas and drives outcomes.
What role will you play?
As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for building out and actively covering a portfolio of primarily European investment-grade financial services companies including banks and insurers as well as real estate and housing associations. Your role will involve conducting thorough analyses and providing recommendations to the portfolio management team. You will also work with analysts, traders and portfolio managers in other regions, and manage global credit portfolios. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a highly successful and growing team in a valuable and prestigious role. You are an experienced Credit Analyst with about 5 years’ experience in either in funds management, the sell side, a ratings agency, or within a bank with a strong track record of analysing European issuers – experience covering European banks will also be highly regarded.
What you offer
