Here’s how you will make a difference in this role… This role is primarily responsible for assessing the credit risk related to financing operating fleets, equipment lines and single asset credits for customers and for administering the credit approval process and ongoing financial monitoring of the customer. The role reports to the Manager, Credit Risk regarding the assessment of the credit risk associated with customer accounts, AML compliance, working collaboratively with the commercial teams, contributes to credit policy development, supports the data and reporting requirements for MMS securitisation programs (including maintenance and reconciliation of cumulative credit loss data, lender due diligence, probability of default and credit loss modelling and expected credit loss provisioning) and assists with reporting to the Executive Credit Committee and the Board. Your key responsibilities in this role will include: Ongoing credit policy reviews, tracking results of risk management strategies and recommending policy changes based on analysis of profitability, risk and operational impact. Within agreed KPI’s investigate the credit worthiness of potential and existing customers, including analysing customer risks and prior to entering into or increasing business arrangements and make appropriate recommendations. Assess KYC/AML, credit data and, compliance with any debt covenants, financial statements for completeness and accuracy and early warning signs to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit and propose any potential mitigants Support the sales teams where appropriate in liaising with existing and potential customers, (especially for those on Credit Watch), to investigate credit matters and to foster good credit relationships between the customer and the company. Ensure the Group’s security interests are protected through checking effective registration with PPSR, all collateral documents are in order and current and all security remains in force. Maintain cumulative loss registers and support all lender due diligence processes, operational reviews, and portfolio risk of loss assessments as well as supporting the Finance team with credit-related requirements (credit loss provisioning etc.) Support with industry risk assessments and presentations for the MMS Executive Credit Committee and Board Support in maintaining contemporary legislative knowledge related to credit activities in MMS jurisdictions (AML/CTF, PPSR, debt collection and recovery obligations, SME legislative compliance) and ensure policies and processes are compliant in a timely manner Assist in the planning, development and execution of credit risk policies and procedures across multiple jurisdictions, including assisting with the ongoing development and implementation of credit scorecards and Basel-III based credit risk analysis tools.
