We are currently looking for a Credit Analyst for our Mississauga head office.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for a large portfolio of accounts ($15-$20M), ensure the timely payment of invoices on account, and be a key point of contact for our customer, both internal and external.
• Responsible to work with customers/sales on aligning with our sales terms.
• Ensuring all accounts have an accurate credit limit for the account requirements and approval levels.
• Analyze paying habits of accounts that are delinquent.
• Evaluate customer records and recommend credit limit changes or accounts be closed.
• Ensure all legal aspects have been covered and protect the company’s interest at all times.
• Reconcile accounts when customers have short paid invoices due to credit notes such as pricing, returns or tax adjustments.
• Process credit card payments when required.
• 70% collections, 30% Credit analysis.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years credit and collections experience in a business environment.
• Excellent English written and verbal skills required.
• Demonstrated ability to influence customers in a credit and collection setting.
• Policy and procedure oriented.
• Must be able to deal tactfully with customers, co-workers and management.
• Must be highly organized and able to multitask in a fast paced environment.
• Construction collection experience would be a plus
• Must have excellent research and resolution skills.
• Highly motivated, self-starting and have the ability to work in independently as well as in a team environment.
• Strong computer skills, proficiency in MS Office. Experience in AS400 and Get Paid would be an asset.
