United Security Bank is seeking a full-time Credit Analyst to join our Real Estate Construction department. Under the direction of the SVP/Chief Lending Officer, the candidate will perform all support activities related to the department regarding the preparation of financial statements and the maintenance of credit files.

Responsibilities
  1. Review and spread financial information using bank-approved software
  2. Work with the loan officers to prepare the global cash flows annually for all lending relationships
  3. Prepare monthly real estate reports
  4. Prepare annual relationship and annual review reports as requested
  5. Assist the loan officers with ordering appraisals
  6. Manage the Financial Tickler Report (Requesting Tax Returns, Financial statements, K-1 schedules, Global tracking, etc.)
  7. Scan and organize all financial information into the bank’s digital database (director, shared drive, etc.)
  8. Monitor and maintain all participation loans, both purchased and sold. Including but not limited to collecting and wiring monthly interest payments, instructing the note department on how to apply payments, and corresponding with lead or participant banks
  9. Monitor daily overdrafts for Br 50 loan officers
  10. Back up for the auditing of the draw spreadsheets
  11. Order EDR reports
  12. Follows Bank rules and procedures applicable to each of the regular or assigned tasks.
  13. Completes and passes all assigned Bank training classes.
  14. Perform other tasks as assigned or as deemed necessary related to the department.
    Requirements:
  15. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or the equivalent training and experience, plus appropriate and specific education and training in banking subjects.
  16. One to three years of working experience, preferably in banking.
  17. Have a proven record of accuracy in the approach to work output.
  18. Working knowledge of English. Must be an effective communicator, both oral and written communication.
  19. Ability to accurately work with Excel spreadsheets.
  20. Ability to multitask.
  21. Ability to accurately and effectively use Bank software and office machines. Working knowledge of a Personal Computer and specific software pertaining to job assignments
  22. Ability to work effectively with other bank employees.
