What’s the role? As part of the Property Finance Portfolio Management Team your razor-sharp credit analysis skills and strong property insights will be put to use for large private property companies and unlisted property fund managers. Working with Relationship Managers, you’ll meet with property investors and developers and provide high quality written credit submissions and input into loan structuring. Importantly, you’ll also get the chance to: * Work collaboratively with analysts, product experts, Relationship Managers & Credit Managers to initiate and structure a range of banking transactions * Enjoy a unique blend of analytical and entrepreneurial challenges * Look into risk profiling, financial analysis (including development feasibilities and property cash-flow modelling) and related credit submission activities to support upcoming deals * Complete reports compiling the analysis and rationale for supporting debt requirements ranging from $10m to $200m for property finance customers * Monitor and manage risk across customer portfolios * Play a critical role in protecting Westpac Group’s assets by applying sound credit management practices   What do I need? You will have a good track record of banking experience with solid credit analysis and commercial acumen, allowing you to confidently navigate the complexities of credit risk.  You’ll usually work in a team, but you’ll also need to regularly fly solo. Here’s what you’ll need to succeed.  * A relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Finance or Property * Property cashflow modelling and/or development feasibility analysis skills * Strong stakeholder management capabilities * A proactive attitude and a genuine commitment to teamwork—someone who contributes to a supportive, respectful, and high-performing environment * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills * A high level of confidence, detail orientated, and the ability to work in a busy environment  * Prior experience in a Professional Commercial Working Environment, preferably in the commercial and corporate banking field with existing experience in writing credit submissions.  We will also consider people from Accounting, Insolvency, Valuation, or Property backgrounds If you are a passionate and focused team player, then we encourage you to apply!
