Description

We are seeking a Hybrid Credit and Collections Representative on a temp-to-hire basis for a Global Company in the Somerset, Nj area! The ideal candidate must have a strong background in credit and collections, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with ERP systems such as PeopleSoft.
Location: Somerset, NJ
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Time: 8:30am-5:00pm
Pay: $27/hr

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field OR Certified Credit Executive (CCE).
  • 3–5 years of experience in credit and collections.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent data entry and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience using ERP systems (e.g., PeopleSoft) and credit reporting tools (e.g., Dun & Bradstreet, Experian).

TOP TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • ERP system knowledge (PeopleSoft preferred)
  • Credit reporting tools (D&B, Experian)
  • Data entry and records management
Responsibilities
  • Review and manage orders on credit hold; determine next steps within company policy.
  • Contact delinquent accounts and work closely with Territory Managers for resolution.
  • Respond to customer and internal inquiries regarding payments and past due notices.
  • Investigate creditworthiness of prospective customers and maintain/update credit limits.
  • Recommend customers for legal collections and prepare documentation for review.
